The Scars Heal In Time
The Scars Heal In Time
This hard hitting, high energy rock band are no strangers to the hardwork and hustle of the music business. Originating with two bold sisters, Kayla Smith on Guitar and Vocals, and Tayler Smith on Drums. The two sisters have been known to break the rules since they first jumped into the music scene. - by the end of 2017 the band will have toured 6 months of the year, released a new EP Produced by Justin Rimer (12 Stones, Saving Abel, Wayland) as well as a new music video Directed by Jon Vulpine (Backstreet Boys, Saliva, Lil Wayne, Drowing Pool)
Divine Sorrow
Divine Sorrow
Divine Sorrow is a progressive hard rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. Founding member Bryan Chappell (lead vocals and bass) finalized the group with the addition of Mike Sikorski (guitar), Lee Skyles (drums) and Paul Schaffrin (lead guitars)

Divine Sorrow is a complex mixture of heavy atmospheric rock and analytically driven lyrics with strong melodic tendencies. The bands tenured musicianship provides a strong live performance.

Chappell’s dark, melodic writing style is an open journey through the cloud of organized religion taht was forged in his childhood. The expression of these feelings of hypocrisy and ambivalence are apparent in the powerful lyrics. The yearning to create music that is melodic and heavy collides with the dark feelings of beauty and tragedy and has taken its first breaths.

Divine Sorrow began its live performances in July of 2011 to well received audiences in St. Louis, Mo. and the music continues to captivate crowds and grow it's fan base with every show.

"Tales of Descension" is the debut full-length CD from Divine Sorrow, it was released on Friday, May 18th, 2012. It is an exciting and complex journey that needs to be heard by anyone who enjoys music.

Walter Vaughn from St. Louis BiState Music Scene had this to say about the release: "These four musicians play as one that in the end compliment each others individual talent. Every song on this CD is solid and stands on it's own. My favorite, "Everything" is "everything" you want in a # 1 hit song. It's impossible to listen to this song without singing along at some point."
